CLAUDIA MACCANTI
Hello my name is Claudia and I am 18 years old. I come from Padova, a city near Venice. I like travelling and experiencing cultures different from mine.
I am grateful for the opportunity given to me through the erasmus+ program. It allowed me to develop my English while experiencing firsthand life in a foreign country.
From this experience I expect to learn how to adapt to situations which are outside of my comfort zone and see what it is like to be in the working world.
When I first heard I was going to Sweden I felt excited but I was also worried. The language, climate and daily habits are different from the ones in Italy. Luckily, everyone I met has been very welcoming, which made me feel more at ease.
In the workplace, my colleagues and supervisors have been kind and approachable. From the start they made me feel part of their group even though I was going to be with them for a short time. Thanks to them I had the best first job experience I could have had.
FRANCESCO PUGLIESE
I’m very happy to have this experience in Sweden, because I think it will be an opportunity to improve my work and language skills. I am sure that thanks to this project I’m going to increase my knowledge.
NICOLO SIGNORILE
Hi, my name is Nicolò and I come from a little town near Venice,in the northern Italy. I’m 18 years old and I love travelling and discovering new places.
I’m very happy about my experience here in Lund, especially at my workplace, where all the staff is available to answering my questions and giving me some helpful advices.
I think that living out of my comfort zone and doing my first working experience abroad will help me not only in developing my English but also in facing the problems that life will put on my path and these 5 weeks will give me an idea of how I’m expected to behave between the adults in the working world.
GIADA PAGNIN
Hi, my name is Giada, I’m 18 years old and I live in Padua (Italy).
Currently I’m attending my last year of high school, specialising in architecture, but thanks to Erasmus +, I had the opportunity to spend five weeks in Sweden doing my first work experience ever.
This project has allowed me not only to improve my language skills but also it has taught me new practical competences and how to collaborate with other people in a social context completely different from what I am normally used to.
In this way, in addition to visiting a country I never expected to see, I was also able to get to know new customs and mentalities that will certainly enrich my personal experience.
