Meet Agnes! One of the interns we have placed in Mittpuntken this year. Agnes will be working with them until December while hoping to develop her English speaking skills she will support their café and their second hand shop.
Mittpuntken has its own second-hand shop, café and a workshop place where activities are held from time to time.
Activities are created for the local community with the local community in Höör!
My name is Agnès NGO UM EYONO, I am 36 years old and I am from France.
After obtaining my master’s degree in Administration, Economic and Social, then my Bachelor in Transport and Logistics, I worked for 10 years as a logistics coordinator.
I had the opportunity to work in three different business sectors as Automotive, Events and Health. Through these different positions, which were all open to the international market, I was able to practice in English and acquire a good foundation.
In March 2020, I had to go to Sweden to improve my English in order to have access to positions with more responsibility. However, during the lockdown period, I decided to work on my own business. This is how I created my Bellenceinte business, which offers clothing and accessories for pregnant women and babies.
I chose Sweden out of curiosity, especially since it is not the first destination you think of, when you want to do a language study trip. I must admit that I was very pleasantly surprised by the welcome, the beauty of the country and the peaceful and relaxing way of life.
I hope by the end of this internship to have a better level of English, especially spoken, because I really need it to develop my business internationally. I also hope to meet new people and learn more about Swedish culture.
Kinds regards.
Agnes
