Introduction of our new internship group

Mobilizing Expertize, of course hosting interns, but we are also finding the hosting companies for young people who want to work in specific fields.
So today we gonna introduce you Sofia, as well as Fiona, Thibault and Pierre who are working in different companies in research, marketing, store management and even within a Brewery!

Let’s start with Sofia :

“Hi there! This is Sofia. I was born on 3rd October 2001 in Santa Fe, Argentina. When I was one, my family and I moved to Catalonia (Spain), and I lived there until one month ago.

Over the last 4 years, I studied Business Administration and International Business and I also used to work at the same time.
Now it is time to complete my studies abroad, and to put into practice all the knowledge and values I learned in Spain, so I am finally doing me International Business internship in Mobilizing Expertise.
Here I am living the life I always dreamt of: I have met a lot of international people as I am living at a students’ accommodation located in Lund, and we do a lot of activities together. Sweden is an amazing country, and I am having a superb lifestyle.

Besides, I am taking online courses about different topics, and I take Swedish classes too, as I love to gain new knowledge. Likewise, I am acquiring and developing new skills both professionally as well as personally. I am grateful for having this opportunity and I love being here in Sweden so much that I am planning to stay here to work and to study my university career.

Hej då! 😊”

Now Fiona :

“My name is Fiona, I’m from South of France, and I decided a few months ago to apply in the Erasmus program.
I chose Sweden as I’ve always been interested in Scandinavian countries for their different lifestyle and culture.

I’ve been accepted as an intern in a company called Capital, working in seed-funding. I’m taking care of the marketing aera and the social media. It’s a whole new environment for me as I have a Tourism degree background.
I enjoy being in this company, as I am supervised by professional and welcoming people. My daily workday is represented by looking for articles to share on LinkedIn, doing some research for each company that Capital is investing in, doing some PowerPoint presentation and so on.

I like my internship because I get to learn new skills, and my daily work is different from a day to another. I’m looking forward to learning new things and to discover more of this beautiful country.”

Now it’s the turn of our younger trainee, Thibault :

“Hi, my name is Thibault Selles, I’m 17 years old, I’m from Nîmes in France and I’m here for an internship in a second-hand store for four months.
Being able to have this opportunity at my age is incredible for me and I’ve always wanted to travel and discover new cultures, so I feel very lucky for doing this For the moment I really love Sweden.

The landscapes are amazing and I’m looking forward to discovering more and I want to learn the Swedish language. Even though I’m not a big fan of Malmö (the city where I live) I really like Lund, I think it’s beautiful and more calm.

On a personal side I’m sure that this experience will help me to become more mature and I hope that I can make new friends from all Europe. On the professional side this will be my first long term experience of work so I’m sure that it will be helpful for improving my skills in the workplace.

For my future I’m kind of lost at the moment. I don’t know if I want to come back to France to restart my studies or maybe stay here for work or even start to study here if I can.”

And finally, our (maybe) future entrepreneur Pierre:

My name’s Pierre, I’m 24 years old and I come from the south of France.

This trip is a first experience for me to be able to live in another country and for which I’m happy and excited. I was able to go to Sweden thanks to Erasmus+ that gave me the chance to live in Malmö for a period of 4 months to discover and train myself in the profession of brewing.
For a while now, I have been interested in making beer and want to see and try all the stages of manufacturing. In South Plains Brewing Company, Jeffrey passionately shows and teaches me how to brew beer from start to finish. From single grains and ending up delivering them to customers.

I came to improve my English level, but I also want to be able to visit and experience Swedish culture. When I return to France, if the internship interests me as well as the brewing profession, I hope to be able to visit and work in other breweries in the world to learn other techniques and to open mine one day.”

Hope you enjoyed those testimonies as much as we did 😁!
