Here is the testimony of our dear Francesco
“Last week we participated to the third meeting of the Nord Plus project “Spatial Footprints” for the Promotion of Informal Adults’ Digital Education for Spatial and Sustainable Tourism Development.
This meeting took place in Latvia as we had the pleasure of being hosted by the Kurzeme Tourism Association in Kuldīga and by its manager Artis.
The meeting had a form of a practical training on how to create professional pictures in a photography studio and in night conditions. In the two-day training we were joined by the Latvian partners, Zane and Ilze, by the Lithuanian project manager Eduardas and by Anni from the Estonian partners.
The first day, started with a historical guided tour of the Unesco World Heritage that is the old town in Kuldīga. Later on, we experimented the use of different lenses and different lighting such as low light and colored light in the studio, we then moved to the snowy city center to practice with night photography and long exposures. On the second, and last day, we took a more technical seminar on how to use different techniques while doing photography and how to use software to edit pictures.
The next scheduled event will be hosted by us in Lund where will prepare a training on how to make use of YouTube in the tourism digital development. We are looking forward to hosting our project partners!
