*Internship Program Alert*: Meet One of Our Interns from Nimes – Shakira

Hey, it’s Shakira! Today, I want to share my incredible experience in Sweden with you. After completing my training as an educational and social support worker, I felt the need to travel and see what other countries had to offer. For the past two months, I’ve been living a true dream.

I am in Sweden to do an internship in the social sector. Currently, I work at the Motettens Folkets Hus association in the neighborhood, which aims to invigorate local cultural life. This association also offers other organizations and individuals the opportunity to host events in its facilities, allowing me to meet many people and immerse myself in the community through all the activities we organize.

In addition to my work in Sweden, I’ve had the opportunity to participate in international events. For example, I visited Denmark, located less than two hours by train from my workplace. There, I attended an exhibition at the famous Louisiana Museum, known for its collections of modern and contemporary art. This experience not only enriched my personal culture but also gave me a unique perspective on cultural initiatives beyond Swedish borders.

Living and working in Sweden has provided me with an enriching experience both professionally and personally. I look forward to continuing to explore this beautiful country.
