Today and over the next sixteen days, Mobilizing Expertise is standing for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Until December 10th, the Human Rights Day, we are going to share with you the content provided by the United Nations in order to make you aware of the impact of this societal phenomenon.
Emerging data shows an increase in calls to domestic violence helplines in many countries since the outbreak of COVID-19. Now more than ever, it is time to become aware of this violence and to fight it.
As an example to make things happen, Mobilizing Expertise is a partner of FLAVIE ( Fighting Loud Against Violence In Europe), an Erasmus Plus project which aims to:
- promote common values of freedom, tolerance and empowerment, along with the respect for society rights
- raise awareness in fundamental rights, in psycho-social knowledge, and providing prevention means for active citizenship
- increase awareness among adult trainers and volunteers about the importance of knowing women’s rights and making them better-known
- share European good practices and prevention tools
